These hydrangea flower earrings are made from sterling silver imprinted with dried hydrangea flowers. Each silver hydrangea flower hangs from a sterling silver ball stud which allows the flower to move and swing a little.

Each hydrangea flower earring is approximately 1.3cm in diameter. Using real hydrangea petals to make these earrings means that every pair is slightly different.

These earrings use a sterling silver butterfly closure on the back and the drop of each earring measures approximately 1.8cm.

Hydrangea petals look incredibly fragile but are amazingly strong. The petals are selected after the flowers have dried out through all the autumn and winter weather. It is really amazing to see how these seemingly fragile petals can transfer their texture into the surface of the heat-treated silver to leave a beautiful, unique pattern.
