This silver pendant’s design was inspired by 18th centenary armillary spheres. The bands can be personalised with mottos, words you want to live by or important places in your universe. The pendant is also perfect as a gift to encourage someone else with engraved words of congratulation or motivation.

Armillary spheres were used historically to understand and track the movements of the planets and stars. This miniature, abstracted version has two bands that spin vertically and horizontally. The bands all lie flat when worn.

• Chose your chain length (the photograph of the necklace worn has a chain length of 28 inches)

• Click on the ‘add to cart’ button and you will be taken to a form where you can type the engraving for each band.

• The bands start off blank and can be engraved with block capitals, numbers and some symbols (eg: degrees for latitude and longitude coordinates, punctuation marks, ampersands, hearts and stars).

• The engraving starts at 12 o’clock on each band and continues clockwise. All engraved text is in block capitals.

• The outer band can take up 49 characters, the middle 34 and the smallest 22 characters.

• I will email you to confirm your engraving layout and will then make your pendant by hand here, in my studio in Yorkshire, England.

• Your Armillary Sphere pendant will arrive in a hinged presentation box, tied with a grey satin ribbon.
